Pil-Sung Martial Arts DoJang
Established: 2005
Founder/Owner
Master Grogin opened Pil-Sung Martial Arts in Albany, New York in 2005. He opened the Do-Jang with the mission to change the way the Capital Region looked at Martial Arts.
Based on Master Grogin's multiple disciplined lineage, he believes that holistic training involves cross training in more than one style to compliment and supplement both in technique and mentality. His goal was to incorporate this belief into the culture of the school.
In 2006 Master Grogin's Shifu, Jaing Jan-Ye relocated his school into the walls of Pil-Sung becoming the first sub-leased program at Pil-Sung. Over the next few years, Master Grogin would add multiple different styles, instructors and programs to the school creating a unique establishment not seen elsewhere in the capital region at that time. Potential Students could chose the martial art that was right for them, or chose multiple, under the same roof.
At current day, Pil-Sung is the home to four different, unique and diverse martial arts programs.
